1. Does Hufco allow customer and vendors to tour the Hufco facilities?
..........a. Absolutely, we actually encourage it. Ask someone in customer
..............service and they can assist you.
2. Does Hufco ship international?
..........a. Currently we do not ship international, however we are looking into this
...............and it could change in the near future.
3. Does Hufco have a VMI or Bread man service?
..........a. Yes, Hufco has the best VMI program on the market today. Check under

4. Does Hufco have someone that will come onsite and make hose assemblies?
..........a. Yes, our onsite service department does just that. Check under the
...............special services tab for more information.
5. Who is Hufco’s preferred carrier for shipping?
..........a. Standard shipments and not local – We use FedEx.
..........b. For rush orders and local – We use Favors For a Price delivery service

6. How many locations does Hufco have?
..........a. Currently we have eight locations. Click the contact us page for

7. Does Hufco acknowledge all customer purchase orders?
..........a. If the purchase order is sent electronically, yes.
..........b. If called in, we do not unless asked to.
8. Why did your hose not come in the “exact” footage you ordered?
..........a. Bulk hose is considered long length product same as wire, rope, cable
...............and many others. The industry standard (Parker and Hufco follow
...............these standards) is +/- 10%. You can order “exact” lengths, ask our sales
...............department for details.
9. Does Hufco participate in the Parker PTS (hose tracking) system?
..........a. Yes, actually all hose assemblies made in our Houston production
............. facility.(including Polyflex assemblies) have PTS labels. We do more
..............PTS labels.than anyone else in the world.
10. Can I get MTRs and/or C of Cs with my order?
..........a. Yes, you can get any documentation you like as long as it is available
...............from.the manufacturer. Please keep in mind that some manufacturers
...............charge for this documentation.
11. Does Hufco sell the Parker Autoclave line?
..........a. Yes, we are proud to offer our customers the complete Parker Autoclave
...............line.
12. How long has Hufco been in business?
..........a. Under the current ownership, 23 years, in total 36 years.

1. When should I use thermoplastic hose?
..........a. When weight and/or abrasion is a factor
2. Does Parker have adjustable crimpers?
..........a. Yes, Parker has both adjustable and non-adjustable (positive stop)
...............crimpers.Hufco prefers the positive stop crimpers for their customers due
.............. to simplicity of the machines. Quality assemblies are easily made with
...............Parker.Parkrimp (positive stop) machines.
3. What safety factor does Parker hose have?
..........a. Parker hose has a 4:1 safety factor, there are some expectations such
...............as Energy Products Division aka Polyflex. These hoses are at a 2.5:1
...............safety factor. When in doubt just ask us.
4. I don’t see a fitting in the Parker catalog what do I do now?
..........a. There are a couple of things you can do. Use the Parker apps and/or
...............contact.us. It may be a special item and we can assist you with that.
5. Can I get Autoclave products rated for H2S (sour gas) service?
..........a. Yes, many products from Autoclave can be rated for H2S service.
6. I want a crimper at my facility to make my own hoses, can Hufco help
....with the price?
..........a. Yes, there are many programs Parker offers that you can take
...............advantage of. Ask us how to qualify for the programs.
7. Is there a hose I can use with methanol?
..........a. Yes, we have a couple based on your application.
8. I need to go subsea with a hose what does Hufco need to get me the right hose?
... *There are several things but here are a few.
..........a. What pressure rating do you require?
..........b. Will the hose ever be void/empty?
..........c. How deep are you going?
..........d. What media are you putting through the hose?
9. I have a Polyflex hose that needs to be repaired, what now?
..........a. Follow the 3/3 rule, a Polyflex hose cannot be older than three years
...............old and/or cannot be repaired more than three times. If your hose
...............assemblydoes not exceed either one of these call out customer service
...............staff and they will get you an RMA to return the assembly. We will contact
...............you once an evaluation is done and give you a quote on the repair.
10. Are product catalogs available for Hufco’s products?
..........a. Absolutely they are free, see our products page, please keep in mind
